Exchange Server:
We have been working with Exchange server since
version 5 and have performed many migrations and upgrades to Exchange
versions. One of the largest being an installation of Exchange 2003
in sites across the world with data replicated via active directory
for a large Plc.
Exchange 2003 offers many new features that your
company should be aware of. You can now securely access your email
from any computer connected to the Internet via a browser to access
your calendar, contacts and email using the Outlook Web Access feature.
This helps your employees stay in touch wherever they are in the
world without the need to carry a laptop or the hassle of looking
for a WiFi enabled access point.
Also, if you have remote users who are predominantly
based from home or on the road then Microsoft Outlook over Https
service provides an easy and secure method for them to access their
emails without the need for a Virtual Private Network (VPN). This
has advantages over Outlook Web Access because users can still read
their Outlook information even if offline and not connected to the
Internet.
