A recent study has shown that over a third of international businesses don’t use encryption.
IT managers from organisations that operate worldwide were quizzed as to what security precautions they take when it comes to protecting their networks. Shockingly 35% of these companies don’t encrypt their potentially sensitive data at folder or full disk levels.
What’s even more worrying is of the 35% that don’t employ any form of encryption, over half don’t intend on employing either Full Disk Encryption or Folder Level Encryption (FLE).
Encrypting your data is essential to protecting your business not only from attackers but also from data breach if any devices or personal information are lost, stolen or misplaced.
