The first ever Apple computer has been sold at auction for over £430,000.
The Apple 1 was made in 1976 by Apple co-founders Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. 200 of the retro computers were made, but now there are believed to be only 46 still in existence and of these remaining 46 only 6 are reported to work.
The device which was sold at an auction in Cologne on Saturday reached a huge $650,000, $17,000 more than an auction last year raised for the same item. The Apple 1 complete with monitor, tape drive and keyboard was won by an anonymous buyer based in Asia.
The motherboard of the computer was hand signed by Steve Wozniak and the documentation by Steve Jobs. The device will be the envy of tech collectors worldwide.
