A recent study has shown that paper processes are slowing down businesses efficiency.
Despite the digitalisation of most processes at both home and work, many businesses are still relying on slow paper based practices. In fact 75% of companies still hold one fifth of data as a hard paper copy.
Digitalising data has a huge impact on the productivity, forecasting and decision making of business. 50% of organisations still hold 10 years’ worth of data in hard copy, with only 13% of these confident that accessing such information would be a) possible and b) efficient.
It’s said that digitally ready businesses outperform companies that still use old non digital processes meaning that keeping data organised, structured and tidy is essential to business success.
