Signal Networks are looking for experienced and promising IT technicians to join the Signal team!

We are currently looking for the following –

1st Line Support
To provide excellent IT customer service and technical support to customers. The IT Helpdesk is the main point of contact between the business & clients and handles all IT service incidents and requests. To also identify and participate in service improvement activities which add value to the business, by working closely with colleagues across the IT team.

Who we’re looking for

Essential
-Background of, and a background in, supporting Microsoft desktop and server products (such as Windows XP/Vista/7, Windows Server 2003/8, – Exchange 2010 and Office 2007/10).
– Expertise in LAN and WAN networking, web-based systems, user access control, client side software, client management, remote access and telephony.
– A general background and proven aptitude in IT systems and software support.
– A good background of working in an IT support environment.

Desirable
– Expertise of working in an ITIL compliant organisation.
– MCP in Windows XP/Vista/7, MCP in Windows Server 2003/8, MCP in Microsoft Networks.
– HNC or HND in an IT related field.

2nd Line Support
Working within an experienced and innovative support function you will provide pre-emptive 2nd line support to a range of bespoke and standard applications and systems.

Who we’re looking for

A range of demonstrable experience in supporting:
• Networks
• Routers
• Servers
• Bespoke applications
• Demonstrable experience of learning new technologies quickly
• ITIL
